Job Overview

Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and resetting tables for new guests
- Manage guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure a positive experience
- Handle cash transactions accurately with cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness in service areas, including the dining room, bar, and kitchen stations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
Skills
- Proven experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively through suggestive selling techniques
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Previous experience in fine dining or nightclub settings is a plus
- Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
- Experience in food preparation, serving, bussing, or as a host/host is beneficial
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work well within a team environment
- Flexibility to work nights and weekends as required by the restaurant schedule
