What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server/Waiter position at WASABI AMES?
WASABI is one of the most current and authentic Japanese restaurants that has come to the Des Moines area. It is our goal for our EMPLOYEES to provide customers with the most authentic Japanese cuisine available, in an atmosphere that captures true cultural character and service. We are looking for a skilled and friendly Restaurant Server to join our team! This position play a big role for creating and providing best customer experience and satisfaction.
Server duties and responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer services
- Make suggestions based on their preferences
- Take and serve food/drinks orders
- Up-sell when appropriate
- Clean and tidy at all times, and finish side works.
- Deliver checks and collect payments
- Cooperate and communicate with all serving and kitchen staff
- Adhere to all relevant health department rules/regulations and all customer service guidelines
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
