We are currently interviewing for experienced and energetic early childhood educators to join our dedicated staff as an Assistant Pre-K Counts teacher in the Pottstown area. Hours are based on center need. - no nights or weekends! Paid time off, paid holidays, great benefits! Sign on Bonus $300-$2100 dependent on credentials. EOE
Responsibilities and Duties
- Maintain a fun and interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
- Build relationships with children through positive interactions that promote social, emotional and cognitive development .
- Assessment of children and maintain child portfolios.
- Implement Pa. Early Learning Standards and maintain Keystone STAR 4 high quality initiatives.
- Recognize, observe and evaluate children's development and implement strategies to enhance child's development through intentional teaching.
- Attending to children's daily needs including supervision of toileting/diapering, meal times, indoor/outdoor play times, and nap time supervision.
- Provide an engaging classroom that allows children to explore through experimentation.
Qualifications and Skills
- Preschool CDA or AA in ECE required
- Patient and flexible
- Basic computer proficiency.
