What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant position at Warthan Dermatology?
Dermatology practice is seeking a highly motivated Medical Assistant to aide dermatology and dermatology surgeries (Mohs), scribe, and more! Certification is not necessary, but experience is preferred!! Job duties will include rooming patients, obtaining vitals, gathering patient medical histories, sterilizing instruments, stocking supplies, assisting physicians during surgeries, providing wound care, and more! Experience with electronic medical systems is also preferred. The successful applicant must be a quick learner, detailed oriented, and have good communication skills with patients and staff. This is a full time position, Monday through Thursday, 8-5. And Friday 8-3 pm. All employees with be drug screened and background checked upon employment. We are also a smoke-free work environment.
