Responsibilities
- Lead diverse group fitness classes such as yoga, Pilates, cycling, dance, CrossFit, and sports coaching sessions with enthusiasm and professionalism.
- Develop customized training programs tailored to individual client needs, goals, and fitness levels.
- Demonstrate proper exercise techniques by applying your knowledge of physiology, anatomy, body mechanics, and program design to ensure safe and effective workouts.
- Motivate clients during sessions by providing clear instructions, encouragement, and constructive feedback to maximize results.
- Incorporate various fitness modalities including kickboxing, cycling, Pilates, yoga, and dancing to keep classes engaging and varied.
- Promote a positive gym environment by fostering community spirit and encouraging members’ participation in group activities.
- Assist with fitness assessments and progress tracking to monitor client improvements over time.
- Support the sales team by promoting personal training packages and membership programs to help members achieve their goals.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the gym area to ensure a secure workout environment for all participants.
- Stay updated on the latest fitness trends and certifications to continually enhance your teaching skills.
Experience
- Proven experience in leading group fitness classes such as yoga, Pilates, cycling, or dance.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, body mechanics, and exercise science principles.
- Demonstrated ability in program design tailored to diverse populations and fitness levels.
- Background in personal training or sports coaching is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with CrossFit methodologies or functional training techniques is a plus.
- Excellent teaching skills with the ability to motivate and engage participants of all ages.
