Job Summary
Warrenton Woods Recovery Center is seeking a dependable, compassionate Behavioral Health Technician/Recovery Assistant to join our overnight care team. This role is vital in supporting a safe, therapeutic environment for our clients as they navigate and progress in their recovery journey.
Responsibilities
- Monitor client safety, behavior, and wellbeing throughout the shift
- Perform routine rounds and complete accurate documentation
- Support clients with basic needs, redirection, and de-escalation as needed
- Assist with early morning routines and maintain a clean, structured environment
- Communicate observations or concerns to clinical team members
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect all client confidentiality
- Follow all facility policies, procedures, and safety standards
Requirements
- Must pass a drug test and all required background checks
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently during overnight hours
- Strong communication, observation, and crisis-response skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in behavioral health, addiction recovery, or residential care
- Medication Aide certification (highly preferred)
