Warrenton Woods is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for the 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. shifts. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

Eligible full-time and part-time Care Team Members can earn an additional $5/hr attendance bonus for working their scheduled shifts. We also offer weekly pay with DailyPay available. The team can review the exact schedule and weekend rotation during the interview.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in accordance with your LPN license, applicable scope of practice, current regulations, and facility policies and procedures.

• Direct and support certified nursing assistants and other assigned personnel within your scope of practice.

• Follow the nursing model to promote holistic, resident-focused care.

• Ensure assigned nursing personnel follow established policies and procedures.

• Participate in resident admissions, discharges, and transfers as needed.

• Monitor residents for changes in condition and contribute to nursing assessments and care planning within your scope of practice.

• Notify the physician, nursing leadership, and the resident’s family or representative of significant changes as appropriate and document them accurately.

• Transcribe and carry out physician orders within your scope of practice.

• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.

• Communicate with residents, families, physicians, RNs, CNAs, and other members of the care team.

Required Qualifications

• A current, unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the practicing state

• A nursing degree or diploma from an accredited nursing program

• Current CPR certification

• Prior long-term care or skilled nursing experience is preferred, but not required
