About the Role
We’re looking for a part-time Shop Attendant to help lead our daily operations and deliver exceptional customer experiences. This individual will take primary responsibility for opening and closing the shop a few days of the week and ensuring that every visitor leaves with a smile (and maybe a few extra sweets!).
You’ll be the heartbeat of our shop — supporting customers, managing day-to-day operations, and helping bring our vintage candy store vision to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Create an exceptional, memorable experience for every customer
- Manage daily store operations, including restocking, merchandising, and cash handling
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming shop environment
- Handle customer concerns or complaints with professionalism and warmth
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and enhance the customer experience
- Uphold health, safety, and cleanliness standards
- Represent the store with enthusiasm, integrity, and positivity
Requirements
- Strong passion for customer service and creating joyful experiences
- Self-motivated, reliable, and eager to take ownership of store success
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to lift and move boxes and climb steep stairs multiple times per day
- Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods
- Ability to work a weekends and some weekdays 11AM - 8PM
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Projected Total Compensation: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
