The Role
We're seeking a Customer Service and Sales Representative who is reliable, detail-oriented, and enjoys working with people. In this role, you'll be the main point of contact for customers-answering questions, preparing quotes, and processing orders. You'll also collaborate with our production team to ensure orders are accurate and delivered on time. This is a hands-on position where every day is different. One day you may be walking a customer through product options, and the next you'll be coordinating with the shop floor to meet a deadline. Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement & Support
- Interact with customers via phone, email, and in-person for product inquiries, order status, and price quotes.
- Listen and respond professionally to questions and concerns, recommending solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Assist customers in navigating the Korman Signs website, product catalog, or state specifications/requirements.
Sales & Order Management
- Provide timely pricing on standard quote requests; coordinate with Estimating for custom or non-standard pricing.
- Enter and process sales and work orders using ERP software (Global Shop Solutions).
- Respond to order status and shipping questions, resolving customer issues as needed.
Team Participation & Product Knowledge
- Maintain comprehensive and current knowledge of all company products.
- Participate in monthly product demonstrations and team meetings to support collaboration.
- Update customer account records and support internal workflows as needed.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in the traffic safety or related industry is required.
- 3–5 years of customer service and sales experience preferred (manufacturing, industrial, or related field).
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a professional and courteous approach to customer relationships.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort navigating multiple business applications.
- Motivated, collaborative team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
