Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Day/Medical

One of our residential programs located in Glens Falls, NY currently has a full-time 40-hour Direct Support Professional-Day/Medical position available. The shift for this position is Monday- Friday 6am-2:30pm, with a 30-minute daily unpaid lunch break. The rate of pay is $20.00 per hour, and this is an hourly, non-exempt position. Direct support professionals provide direct care to the individuals we support that have intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. This position is required to administer Medication, count medications, order as needed. Assist with routine medical appointments as requested and communicate effectively with health care professionals.

This position also includes but is not limited to assisting the people with getting ready for the day, cooking, cleaning, and participating in social/recreational activities in the community - and just plain have fun while making a difference!

• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required
