Our Finance Department currently has a Full Time 40 hours Accounting Clerk position available. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday during business hours.
This is an hourly non-exempt position with a pay rate of $24.04 per hour. The Accounting Clerk will provide administrative and clerical support to the Finance Department, with a focus on billing, accounts payable and receivable, and general accounting tasks. They will serve as back-up to the Billing Manager and assist with all aspects of billing practices (including but not limited to Medicaid, CACFP, Self-Direction, and Janitorial). They will also ensure that all billing is filled out properly and entered into the system accurately.Qualifications:

- At least 18 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license that meets WWAARC insurability standards.
- To secure and maintain all certifications and training required by WWAARC.
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree in accounting or closely related field preferred.
- Basic understanding of generally accepted accounting practices and principles.
- Knowledge of Medicaid billing procedures is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to meet deadlines, to multi-task, and be flexible with day-to-day priorities.
- Able to work both independently and as member of a team.
