Driver Recruiter

SUMMARY

The Driver Recruiter is responsible for recruitment of owner operators, experienced fleet owners, and lease purchase contractors and rehires.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Exploring creative methods of sourcing qualified contractors

· Developing new sources of independent contractor candidates

· Prospecting warm leads and cold calls to turn them into new contractors

· Complete pre-contract files and paperwork on applications

· Complete background checks including personal records, MVR, and other reports

· Review and process applications of prospective contractors and determine if applicant is qualified

· Assist with pre-contracting process for new contractors

· Explain the company’s operating policy and safety standards

· Set up and manage travel arrangements for new contractor

· Performs other duties, tasks, or responsibilities as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

· Four year college degree from an accredited institution, or equivalent work experience preferred.

· 1-3 years’ experience in a recruitment position

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong phone etiquette

· Excellent interpersonal communication, customer service, and organizational skills

· Strong negotiation, influencing and interviewing skills

· Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)

COMPENSATION

This position has a base pay monthly performance incentives.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
