Transportation: Driving students to and from school, and to other activities like field trips and sporting events
Safety: Ensuring the safety of students, including helping students with disabilities get on and off the bus
Discipline: Maintaining order and discipline on the bus, and reporting disciplinary issues to the school district and parents
Vehicle maintenance: Conducting daily inspections of the bus, reporting mechanical issues, and keeping the bus clean
Driving: Following traffic laws and adhering to a schedule
Communication: Communicating with students and other staff via two-way radio
Reporting: Completing reports on mileage, passenger counts, and incidents
Training: Attending safety meetings and driver training programs
