Registered Nurse (RN) Med-Surg, Days

Warren General Hospital is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The Med-Surg RN will be responsible for providing high-quality, evidence-based patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to delivering patient-centered care.

Full-time, Days 7a-7p

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on nursing standards and protocols.
• Administer medications, IVs, and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in Pennsylvania, or ability to obtain before start date.
• BLS/CPR certification required (ACLS preferred).
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
