About Us: Warren County Head Start and Early Head Start are federally funded programs for pregnant women, children ages birth through 5 years old and their families. Our goal is to provide high-quality education and support, as early as pregnancy through the Preschool years to children, families and our community.
Position Overview:
- Ensure the smooth operation of the Center and health and safety of the Center
- Over see day to day operation and staff ratios
- Communicates respectfully and effectively with all families, children and staff and promotes teamwork
- Works closely with Coordinators for program needs
- Assists visitors and inspectors
- Caring for young children requires that employee be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and sit on floor. Lifting of up to 40 pounds may be required
- 12 month position that includes paid time off
Pay: 20.75 a hour
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood or related field and one year teaching in a licensed childcare facility and one year supervising staff in a licensed childcare facility.
