The Warren County Learning Center is seeking Long-Term Substitute Teacher to cover maternity leave at the Laura Farrell Campus. This role will cover a two-month period, from February 10 through April 14th, and requires a licensed educator to lead instruction in Math for grades 5-7 and Social Studies for grade 7.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Math lessons for students in grades 5, 6, and 7.
- Teach Social Studies to grade 7 students.
- Implement Tier 1 supports and strategies to meet academic and social-emotional needs.
- Collaborate with a team consisting of a Behavior Interventionist, and Paraprofessional.
- Manage a classroom with a maximum of 12 students, balancing academic and behavioral support.
- Contribute to a program structured with 60% academic instruction and 40% mental health support.
Requirements:
- Must hold a valid General Education License for teaching Math (Grades 5-7).
- Ability to create and execute lesson plans that address diverse student needs.
- Experience or willingness to work in a collaborative and supportive educational environment.
