Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Warren, PA, for an Assistant District Attorney. The responsibilities include representing the Commonwealth in criminal court proceedings, preparing and prosecuting criminal cases, handling legal issues, and working collaboratively with law enforcement and court personnel. The Assistant District Attorney will also provide legal advice in criminal justice matters and perform other duties as assigned by the District Attorney.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Criminal Law, Criminal Justice, and Legal Issues
- Experience with Law Enforcement and working collaboratively with law enforcement agencies
- Knowledge of Courts and legal proceedings
- Strong analytical, legal research, and case preparation skills
- Exceptional written and oral communication abilities
- Ability to make informed and timely decisions under pressure
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and admission to the Pennsylvania Bar and to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania
- Prior experience in criminal prosecution or public service is preferred
