Engine Biller

The Engine Biller is responsible for maintaining and coordinating equipment invoicing.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Review and distribute CAT Acknowledgements and update sales backlog accordingly.
• Review sales orders for accuracy before billing to include taxes, delivery location, forms, customer information, description and required documents are attached to sales orders.
• Invoice all Power Systems sales including RPO/Lease, Used, Trade-in and new Prime Product equipment.
• Invoice deposits/down payments, and other internal transactions.
• Process all credit and rebills while maintaining a detailed log of each transaction with justification.
• Report sales of CAT equipment and ownership changes to Caterpillar.
• Export billing support for tax purposes post invoicing and documentation.
• Process extended service coverage settlements.
• Download and track changes with CAT availability letters for applicable factories.
• Review, make appropriate adjustments and track changes in the sales backlog along with justification for each change for monthly reporting.
• Other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
• Basic computer skills with programs such as Word for Windows, Lotus, Excel, Power Point, etc. are required.
