Our internship program will give you exposure into the day-to-day activities of public accounting and help you learn the ins and outs of the business world. Responsibilities

• Assist with IT general controls (ITGC) testing and documentation as part of financial statement audits
• Support SOC 1 and SOC 2 examinations through control testing, evidence review, and documentation of testing procedures
• Assist with internal controls and business process review engagements, including documentation of process narratives, flow diagrams, and risk/control matrices
• Perform control testing across financial reporting, operational, and IT areas
• Build collaborative relationships with team members and clients by listening, clarifying, and responding effectively and professionally

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Familiarity with basic internal control concepts is helpful but not required; training will be provided on applicable best practice control frameworks
• Genuine curiosity about technology and how it intersects with business risk and controls — no prior IT audit experience required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• CPA or CIA (or progression to) preferred
• Works well on a team but can also manage work individually
• Self starter, with attention to detail, intellectual curiosity and strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
