Warren Averett is seeking an experienced accounting professional for our Birmingham, AL or Atlanta, GA offices. The ideal candidate will have 3 or more years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Establish rapport with new clients and maintain relationships with current clients.
- Collaborating with multiple clients in providing high value personal accounting services
- Maintain and prepare monthly reporting for multiple clients by recording journal entries, reconciling bank and investment statements, and producing monthly cash reports.
- Processing account payables for clients
- Prepare general ledger for accountant to use for tax purposes.
- Communicating results with the client and Members
- Ability to budget time and charge time efficiently.
- Assist with projects, as needed.
Requirements
- Solid understanding of General Ledger and personal finance
- 1 year experience working with Quickbooks Online ( QBOA certification a )
- Ability to learn new online software quickly (Knowledge of Bill.com a )
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with enthusiasm and a positive attitude
- Must demonstrate a sense of urgency around critical priorities, but work calmly, independently and effectively under pressure
- High degree of computer literacy, specifically in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Adobe and Word
- Excellent Written and verbal communication skills with clients, management, members and vendors
- Able to work well in a team environment.
