Wolfgang Confectioners currently has openings for a Material Handler/Forklift Operator on 1st Shift at our Camp Hill Facility.

Work Schedule:

· Monday – Thursday – 5:00 AM PM – 3:30 PM

Pay Rate;

· $18.00 per hour

What You’ll Do

• Read orders and schedules to gather ingredients and supplies
• Move materials between receiving, storage, and production areas
• Organize and store items by type, size, product code, or allergen
• Store perishable ingredients in refrigerated rooms
• Pick, pack, and stage candy orders for production and shipping
• Label products and track inventory using handheld devices
• Record daily activity and keep things organized
• Support food safety and quality control standards
• Occasionally assist with chocolate scraping tasks

What You’ll Need

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Basic reading, math, and communication skills
• Comfortable using warehouse tech like handheld scanners
• Forklift experience is a plus (certification provided)
• Ability to lift and move materials and work on your feet
• OK working around allergens like peanuts, tree nuts, and wheat

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. Employee must be able to safely and efficiently operate power forklift equipment. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Wolfgang Confectioners was founded in 1921 by Delphi Eli and Mima Mae Wolfgang as The D. E. Wolfgang Candy Company. In the beginning, operations were run out of the Wolfgang family home in York, PA, as the family sold chocolates at local farmers markets around York, Lancaster, and Harrisburg. Over time, the company grew and expanded, leading to the opening of a factory in downtown York, PA. Over the decades Wolfgang became known for its quality, delicious confections and its regionally recognized fundraising programs.

Today Wolfgang Confectioners includes an incubator facility at the site of the historic downtown York factory, as well as a state-of-the-art, 135,000 square feet commercial manufacturing facility in Loganville, PA. The company produces private label confections and snacks for many national retailers, works with specialty confection entrepreneurs to innovate new products, while also providing contract manufacturing services for large snack and confectionery companies throughout the Northeast. All our products are OU Kosher and SQF Food Safety Code for Manufacturing certified.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
