Role Description The Practice Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Warr Dental in Salt Lake City, UT. This position oversees day-to-day operations of the dental practice, including patient scheduling, front desk workflows, and coordination of clinical and administrative teams. The Practice Manager manages staff performance, supports training and development, and helps maintain a positive, patient-centered environment. Responsibilities include monitoring financial performance, managing billing processes, handling insurance-related inquiries, and tracking key operational metrics. The role also ensures compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, while continuously improving processes to support high-quality patient care.
Qualifications
- Experience in dental or medical practice management, including oversight of daily operations and staff coordination.
- Skills in patient scheduling, front desk administration, and managing patient flow in a busy clinical setting.
- Knowledge of billing practices, insurance verification, and basic financial reporting within a healthcare environment.
- Strong leadership, team-building, and conflict-resolution skills to support and guide a multidisciplinary staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional, empathetic approach to patient interactions.
- Proficiency with practice management software, electronic records, and general office technology.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field preferred.
- Prior experience in a dental office or healthcare setting strongly preferred.
