The Office/Warehouse Specialist. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and warehouse environment. This position requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in web-based systems, and excellent phone etiquette. You will be responsible for managing various administrative tasks while providing support to our staff and clients. You will ensure that the daily functions and procedures of warehouses, such as inventory, materials, equipment run smoothly and efficiently. From shipping and receiving to maintaining inventory.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
-Answer and direct phone calls using a multi-line phone system with professionalism and courtesy.
-Maintain organized filing systems for documents, ensuring easy retrieval and confidentiality of sensitive information.
-Type correspondence, reports, and other documents as needed, demonstrating attention to detail and accuracy.
-Assist with office management tasks, including ordering supplies and maintaining inventory levels.
-Collaborate with team members to dispatch technicians.
-Perform clerical duties such as data entry, scanning documents, and managing incoming/outgoing mail.
-Perform a variety of warehouse duties such as pull/assemble customer orders, check outbound orders for accuracy and completeness, inventory stock checks, restock and label vendor products, maintain displays (tools, caulk, etc.), move, store and replenish material, and conduct daily/weekly cycle counts.
-Perform receiving duties such as receive and unload inbound material, process inbound shipments, stock material, process customer returns and notify management of damaged shipments for freight claims.
-Maintain, clean and organize facility by sweeping, trash removal, etc. on a daily basis.
-Receive and inspect incoming material orders from approved vendors.
-Store and organize all inventory, tools and equipment in an orderly and accessible manner, while inspecting stock items for wear or defects and reporting to supervision.
-Make occasional deliveries to job sites or customers.
-Maintains all required and appropriate logs pertaining to inventory, material, and equipment.
-Complete daily checklists as provided by management team.
-Performs additional duties as assigned.
