Position Summary
Warner Christian Academy is seeking a dynamic, Christ-centered 3rd Grade Teacher to join our Elementary School faculty beginning January 2026. The ideal candidate will provide engaging instruction, cultivate a positive and orderly classroom environment, integrate biblical worldview throughout the curriculum, and partner with families to support student growth academically, spiritually, and socially.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide daily instruction in core subjects including reading, writing, math, science, and social studies.
- Integrate biblical principles and Christian worldview within all curriculum areas.
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with WCA standards.
- Assess, record, and communicate student progress regularly.
- Employ effective classroom management strategies that reflect grace, respect, and high expectations.
- Foster a welcoming, nurturing, and Christ-honoring classroom environment.
- Communicate consistently with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Collaborate with grade-level and elementary team members to support school initiatives.
- Participate in professional development, faculty meetings, and school events.
- Support and uphold the mission, core values, and policies of Warner Christian Academy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; degree in Elementary Education preferred.
- Valid teaching certification (state or ACSI) preferred; willingness to obtain certification required.
- Experience working with elementary-age students; classroom teaching experience preferred.
- A growing and vibrant Christian faith with a commitment to serve as a positive spiritual role model.
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to integrate faith and learning effectively.

- Reports to: Elementary Principal
- Compensation: Zero year's experience begins at $32,000.00 and goes up from there given experience.
