Assistant Manager of Production and Quality

Warmies is seeking a dynamic Assistant Manager of Production and Quality to supports daily manufacturing operations while helping ensure products meet company, customer, safety, and quality standards. This role works closely with production leadership, quality teams, maintenance, supply chain, and frontline employees to coordinate workflow, monitor performance, resolve production issues, reduce defects, and promote continuous improvement across the operation.

Full time in Dundee, Illinois.

·       Assist in planning, coordinating, and monitoring production schedules to meet daily, weekly, and monthly output goals.

·       Support supervisors and production employees by assigning priorities, communicating expectations, and helping remove obstacles that affect workflow.

·       Monitor production processes, equipment performance, staffing needs, and material availability to help prevent delays and downtime.

·       Help maintain quality control procedures throughout the production process, including inspections, process checks, and review of finished goods.

·       Investigate product defects, production variances, customer concerns, and nonconforming materials; assist with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.

·       Maintain accurate production, quality, inspection, training, and compliance documentation.

·       Partner with quality, maintenance, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve issues and improve production efficiency.

·       Promote safe work practices and ensure employees follow company safety policies, standard operating procedures, and regulatory requirements.

·       Train, coach, and support employees on production methods, quality standards, inspection requirements, and process improvements.

·       Track key performance indicators such as output, scrap, rework, downtime, on-time completion, and quality trends.

·       Recommend and help implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity, reduce waste, improve consistency, and control costs.

·       Assist with audits, customer visits, internal reviews, and corrective action follow-up as needed.

·       Manage product development samples through the sampling evaluation process.

·       High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, operations management, quality management, engineering, or a related field preferred.

·    2 yrs in production, manufacturing, quality assurance, or a related operational role required.

·      2 years prior leadership, team lead, supervisory, or assistant management experience

·       Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

·       Working knowledge of quality control methods, inspection practices, corrective action processes, and manufacturing documentation.

·       Ability to read and understand production schedules, work instructions, specifications, quality requirements, and safety procedures.

·       Strong problem-solving, organization, communication, and follow-up skills.

·       Comfortable using computer-based systems for reporting, scheduling, documentation, inventory, or quality tracking.

·       Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced production environment.
