Nokomis Strategies is recruiting for Warm Valley Health Care's next Chief Financial Officer in Fort Washakie, Wyoming!
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is the senior financial leader for Warm Valley Health Care and its affiliated programs, including operations under the Eastern Shoshone Title V compact. The CFO is responsible for the overall financial strategy, integrity, and sustainability of the organization. This includes planning, directing, and overseeing all financial management functions such as budgeting, accounting, revenue cycle, grants and contracts, audits, purchasing, and financial reporting.
The CFO serves as a key advisor to the CEO and Tribal Health Board on financial matters, supports strategic decision-making, ensures compliance with applicable tribal, federal, and state laws and regulations, and promotes the long-term financial stability of health services for the Eastern Shoshone community.
This position is onsite, in Fort Washakie, Wyoming, and they do offer relocation assistance.

Pay: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

Application Question(s):
- Do you have experience in healthcare finance, preferably in ambulatory care, tribal health, Indian Health Service, FQHC, rural health, or similar setting?
- Do you have strong knowledge of GAAP, budgeting, financial reporting, and internal controls?
- Have you demonstrated experience with audits, grants and contracts management, and federal funding requirements (e.g. IHS, HRSA, SAMHSA, CDC, etc.) ?
