SUMMARY This position will strengthen Warm Beach Camp Ministries by overseeing all departmental print and e-mail communications and working closely with Marketing and the Development Director on social media and web-based fundraising initiatives. The person in this position shall, at all times, demonstrate cooperative behavior towards colleagues, guests and supervisors. Regular attendance is essential for this position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the duties listed below:
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position may supervise up to 1 full-time position, seasonal help, volunteer project etc.

At Warm Beach Christian Camps and Conference Center, we exist to provide
Christ-centered environments, experiences and resources to draw people to God through camping ministries, conferences and events.

This is a full-time, year-round position.

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

- Communications
- Establish and execute timelines for all print and e-mail publications.
- Maintain a close relationship with Marketing to ensure that Development publications are aligned with overall ministry goals.
- Write articles for camp publications such as The Sounder and Partner in Ministry Newsletter.
- Produce print and e-mail campaign materials.
- Database competency
- Generate mailing list relevant for publications.
- Maintain donor records.
- Office Manager
- Maintain supplies needed specific to the Development Department.
- Complete or coordinate the completion of projects for the Development Department.
- Other
- Learn new computer-based skills as needed.
- Participate in Development Events.
- Cultivate and maintain donor relationships with an identified group of Development constituents.
- Other duties as assigned.
