This is a full-time, on-site role located in Miami, FL, for a Forklift Mechanic / Industrial Equipment Technician. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing forklifts and other industrial equipment. The technician will perform preventative maintenance, complete inspections, and replace components to ensure equipment is operational. Additional tasks include maintaining accurate records of repairs and collaborating with the maintenance team to ensure safety and productivity.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair of forklifts, industrial trucks, and similar equipment
- Experience in preventative maintenance and equipment inspection to ensure safe and efficient operations
- Knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical components relevant to industrial equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, diagrams, and manuals
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with maintenance and operations teams
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications are a plus
- Previous experience in a similar role or in an industrial maintenance environment preferred
