Responsibilities
- Develop and implement transportation strategies that optimize freight movement, reduce costs, and improve service levels
- Lead and supervise a team of drivers
- Monitor fleet management activities, including maintenance schedules, driver scheduling, compliance with DOT regulations, and safety protocols for Class A CDL drivers.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by applying lean principles and process improvement methodologies to streamline operations across transportation planning
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Demonstrated ability to lead process improvement initiatives using lean methodologies and continuous improvement strategies.
- Ability to drive a CDL A truck to ensure the customer is serviced
