PT Installer/Technician

Pay: $17-23/hour additional earning opportunities, with the potential to earn up to $75/hour at qualifying prevailing-wage job sites.

Stocks Office Furniture, a division of Warehouse Direct, is growing—and we're looking for dependable, hardworking people to join our team as an PT Installer/Technician.

What You'll Do:

As an Installer/Technician, you'll be part of the team that brings our customers' office spaces to life. You'll work with furniture and equipment from the time it arrives at our facility through delivery and final installation. On-the-job training provided!

Your day may include:

• Delivering and installing commercial furniture at customer locations according to customer specifications, project plans, and installation drawings.
• Using tools and hands-on skills to assemble and install furniture properly.
• Receiving, unloading, and inspecting furniture and equipment from suppliers.
• Organizing and preparing products in the warehouse for upcoming installations.
• Working directly with customers, sales representatives, and project managers to ensure installations meet expectations.
• Reviewing completed installations and making sure the customer is satisfied with the finished product.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment at customer locations, the warehouse, and showroom.
• Moving and installing furniture in the showroom when needed.
• Helping maintain company vehicles, including fuel and routine maintenance.
• Assisting with snow removal and general facility maintenance when needed.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for people who are dependable, motivated, detail-oriented, and ready to learn.

The ideal candidate:

• Has a high school diploma or GED.
• Has a strong work ethic and takes pride in doing quality work.
• Is comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Has good communication and customer service skills.
• Is mechanically inclined or has experience with carpentry, construction, furniture installation, technology, or similar hands-on work.
• Pays close attention to detail.
• Is physically capable of lifting, moving, and installing furniture and equipment.
• Has a valid Class D driver's license. Class A, B, or C is a plus.
• Is dependable, adaptable, and willing to learn new skills.
