- Candidate must have the ability to work in an inclusive classroom setting to support students of varying abilities. -Provide small group academic instruction with a primary focus on math and ELA skills-Candidates must also be able to work cooperatively with all team members, including grade-level teachers, ancillary service providers, and the team chair.-Candidates should possess knowledge of the special education evaluation process and be able to write and implement Individual Education Plans.-Complete progress monitoring assessments to inform future instruction and formulate groupings for instruction across the grade level.-Attend Team meetings to determine student needs and develop individualized goals.-Communicate with parents, informally and formally.-Complete progress notes each term on students' progress towards their individual goals.
