What are the responsibilities and job description for the Early Childhood Classroom Teacher (3 Positions) position at Wareham Elementary School?
In collaboration with other professional and paraprofessional staff, this educator will work within the school setting to facilitate instruction for all students in a classroom setting.
Responsibilities include:
-Design and deliver engaging, differentiated instruction that meets diverse learning needs while maintaining a safe, structured classroom environment.
-Manage effective classroom routines.
-Participate in professional development opportunities and team collaboration
-Provide a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for students to foster their academic, social, and emotional development
-Research and implement evidence-based interventions and teaching strategies, and follow the district curriculum.
-Communicate and engage families in the educational life of students.
-Assume necessary supervisory responsibilities when required.
-Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans.
-Foster strong partnerships with families, teachers, instructional assistants, and therapists.
-Works collaboratively with other teachers, instructors, coordinators, and administration to support the overall needs of the students.
