Responsibilities
- Conduct auto body repairs such as dent removal, auto painting, sanding, and automotive cosmetic repairs to restore vehicles to pristine condition.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and automotive welding equipment to execute precise repairs on various vehicle components.
- Install automotive parts including bumpers, trim, and other body components with attention to detail and safety standards.
- Apply auto restoration techniques by working on damaged vehicles to bring them back to showroom quality.
- Prepare vehicles for refinishing by sanding surfaces with sanding tools and applying airless paint spraying for smooth finishes.
Skills
- Proven experience working as an automotive body technician or in a similar auto repair role within a dealership or independent shop.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive welding equipment required for detailed repairs.
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and parts installation processes to ensure proper assembly and safety standards.
- Experience with auto painting techniques such as airless paint spraying and automotive refinishing processes.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during complex repairs.
