Mitigation Specialists analyze invoices, estimates, photos, moisture documentation, and job details to confirm that charges align with the cause and severity of loss, applicable guidelines, and best practices. Their work helps maintain fairness, accuracy, and consistency in claims handling while supporting timely and appropriate claim resolution.

Responsibilities
Review and evaluate water mitigation work to ensure services and charges are reasonable, necessary, and properly supported. This role focuses on analyzing the cause and severity of loss, validating scope of work, reviewing documentation such as photos and drying logs, and identifying inconsistencies or overcharges. Mitigation Specialists support accurate, fair claim resolution by applying industry best practices and providing clear, defensible review findings.
Qualifications
Active adjuster license required, IICRC Certifications a plus. (both can be obtained during training).
Property claims or mitigation experience preferred
Strong documentation review and analytical skills
Ability to evaluate mitigation scope, charges, and supporting records
