Job Summary
Warden Services, LLC, located in Burnet County is in search of an experienced Equipment Operator to join our team. We are looking for an individual to operate and maintain a Tiger Cat Mulcher. While this position may include time spent on other machinery, the majority of the work week will be spent mulching cedar on a vast property with a variety of terrain. Experience operating a Tiger Cat Mulcher is required.
Job Description:
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment
- Follow safety protocols and regulations at all times while on the job site.
- Assist with other tasks on the ranch when not running equipment.
- Follow project plans, specifications, and job orders.
- Attention to detail ensuring equipment is operating correctly and safely.
- Ability to maintain records of operations, inspections and reporting issues.
- Capability of performing physically demanding tasks and working in various weather conditions across a variety of terrain.
- Ability to work effectively with ground crews and other operators.
Equipment Operation Skills
- Experience and proficiency in operating Tigercat Mulcher with an understanding of their features and functions.
- Understanding of forestry and terrains.
- Adherence to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Ability to notice and address potential hazards during operation.
- Capability to troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise while operating the equipment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Mechanical knowledge for basic equipment maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Valid drivers license
- Heavy Equipment Operator's Certification
- 3 to 5 years experience operating a Tiger Cat Mulcher. Applicants will be asked to demonstrate their skills using the equipment.
- Proficiency in mechanical knowledge related to mulching heads, hydraulic systems and machine controls.
