Who We’re Looking For

  • 3-5 years of yacht brokerage, marine industry, or luxury asset sales experience.
  • Candidates should reside in or live in close proximity to actively serve the Treasure Coast market.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong self-discipline and hunger.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and negotiation skills.
  • Outstanding communication skills and responsiveness to client communications.
  • Proven ability to close high-value transactions.
  • Demonstrated hands-on boating experience and deep knowledge of yachts, boating systems, and the yachting lifestyle on vessels 30ft and larger.
  • High attention to detail and ability to follow processes and procedures.
  • Reputation backed by references for integrity and professionalism.


Stand Out With

  • Established client book of business and/or referral network.
  • Experience managing deals from offer to close.
  • Active involvement in IYBA, YBAA, or similar industry associations.
  • CPYB certification (or active pursuit of it).


What Success Looks Like

  • Build and maintain relationships with boat buyers and sellers, using WYS CRM.
  • Generate listings through networking, referrals, and prospecting.
  • Guide clients through listing, offers, negotiations, surveys, trial runs, financing, insurance, and closing.
  • Deliver exceptional service that generates repeat and referral business.

Ward Yacht Sales represents both new and pre-owned power and sailing yachts, primarily from 30 to 83 feet LOA. Ward Yacht Sales is headquartered in Florida with brokers throughout South Florida on both coasts, a brick and mortar office in Annapolis, MD, and brokers in Chicago, IL. Our brokers are obsessed with providing exceptional client experiences through expertise, highly responsive service, innovative marketing, and a customer-first approach. Key Details

  • U.S. Based Applicants Only: Applicants must be U.S. citizens or otherwise legally authorized to work in the United States and currently residing in the State of Florida.
  • Independent Contractor, Commission-Only Role: This is a commission-only, independent contractor (1099) role. Brokers operate under their own business entity and are responsible for their own taxes, licensing, and insurance. No base salary or employee benefits are provided.
