This is a temporary position on location in Montezuma Creek and Blanding. We are looking for local laborers to join our work force in August and lasting until the jobs are completed. Duties
- Assist in installing various landscape elements including plants, trees, hardscapes, and irrigation systems with precision and care
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment such as excavators safely and effectively
- Prepare sites for planting or construction by clearing debris, grading soil, and setting foundations for hardscape features
- Maintain equipment and tools in excellent condition through regular cleaning and minor repairs
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all installation and maintenance activities
Requirements
- Prior experience or familiarity with landscaping, horticulture, or construction is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential
- Mechanical knowledge or experience operating construction machinery such as excavators is a plus
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
- Strong attention to detail and physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment including irrigation systems
- Basic understanding of landscape maintenance practices such as mowing, lawn care, tree trimming, and hardscape installation
- Effective communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately
