Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Residential Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems within residential properties. Duties

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, and panels in residential settings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical plans.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete electrical installations and repairs.
• Conduct inspections of electrical systems to ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations.
• Work on renovation projects, including updating existing wiring systems or installing new electrical components during construction or remodeling phases.
• Diagnose electrical issues using testing devices such as ohmmeters and troubleshoot low voltage and high voltage systems effectively.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople such as frame carpenters or general contractors to coordinate project timelines and ensure seamless execution.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an electrician with a strong background in residential wiring projects.
• Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and industrial electrician experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with commercial electrician practices, construction site experience, and renovation projects is highly desirable.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment.
• Understanding of low voltage systems, NEC standards, high voltage safety protocols, and low voltage wiring is essential.
• Experience working on construction sites with the ability to adhere to safety guidelines at all times.
• Handyman experience or additional skills such as frame carpentry can be advantageous for versatile project support.

Pay: $25.03 - $30.14 per hour
