Ward/Davis Associates is a manufacturer’s representative firm selling high tech electronic equipment in California, Nevada & Hawaii. Ward/Davis Embedded Systems is a division of Ward/Davis Associates, selling embedded products primarily into the military, electronics and aerospace markets.
We are seeking a full-time, field-based Embedded Systems Sales Engineer with a proven track record of technical sales achievement. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, results-driven professional, capable of driving growth through consultative technical sales. This role requires bridging the gap between complex embedded technologies and customer needs.
Desired Skills & Experience
• An Engineering degree or equivalent coupled with 2-5 years’ relevant experience.
• A background in military mission systems, embedded devices, timing, telemetry and data acquisition would be preferred.
• Good organizational, time management and communication skills.
• Computer knowledge, including MS Office and CRM.
• Must be a US Citizen, living in Southern California and pass a background check.
Compensation
Compensation can range from $100k - $300k, depending on experience and qualifications. When experience provides income from the territory, the compensation consists of a draw and booked commissions from the territory. All expenses are paid and a generous allowance for a Company car is provided. Health insurance and 401K contributions are provided.
Territory
The territory available is an exclusive developed territory in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino counties. This is not a remote sales opportunity.
