- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for mechanical equipment.
- Regularly inspect and maintain mechanical systems to prevent unexpected failures.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and upload them to Geopal.
- Conduct thorough fault-finding investigations to identify mechanical issues within systems.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to pinpoint the root cause of faults.
- Develop and implement strategies to prevent recurring faults.
- Respond promptly to emergency calls for mechanical issues in the water and wastewater sites notified to you.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical failures to minimise downtime.
- Implement quick and effective solutions to restore functionality.
- Document changes made during repair work for invoicing and for future reference.
- Perform mechanical surveys to assess the condition of existing mechanical systems.
- Identify potential areas for improvement or upgrades.
- Compile detailed reports on survey findings and recommendations.
- Conduct comprehensive testing of mechanical systems to verify proper functionality.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines during mechanical work.
- Conduct safety assessments and RAMS to identify potential hazards before starting a job.
- Implement corrective actions to address safety concerns.
