As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing various construction projects within the oil and gas sector. Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Execution: Collaborate with the engineering and operations teams to develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines. Coordinate all project activities and ensure effective implementation of project plans while adhering to safety guidelines and industry regulations.

Resource Management: Efficiently allocate resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to meet project requirements and optimize productivity. Monitor resource utilization and make necessary adjustments to ensure smooth project execution.

Budget and Cost Control: Develop and manage project budgets, closely monitor project expenses, and implement cost-saving measures. Proactively identify potential cost overruns or deviations from the budget and take corrective actions as needed.

Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders. Foster strong relationships and effectively communicate project updates, progress, and any potential issues or risks. Ensure client satisfaction by meeting project objectives and addressing concerns in a timely manner.

Risk Management: Identify and assess project risks, develop risk mitigation strategies, and establish contingency plans. Regularly monitor project risks and implement preventive measures to minimize their impact on project timelines and outcomes.

Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Implement quality control procedures and conduct regular inspections to maintain high-quality construction standards.

Project Reporting: Generate timely and accurate project reports, including progress updates, financial summaries, and risk assessments. Present project status and performance metrics to senior management and stakeholders as required.

Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a multidisciplinary project team, including engineers, technicians, and subcontractors. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment, provide guidance, resolve conflicts, and promote professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field. A relevant master's degree is a plus.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the oil and gas construction industry. Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, codes, and standards within the oil and gas sector. Proficient in project management tools, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Leadership and Communication: Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to effectively communicate, collaborate, and influence stakeholders at all levels. Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Organizational Skills: Excellent time management and organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, and meet deadlines.

Safety Consciousness: In-depth understanding of safety protocols and a strong commitment to ensuring a safe work environment for all project participants.

Certifications: Professional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) and construction industry certifications are highly desirable.
