Responsibilities:
Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist
Assist residents in improving strength, mobility, coordination, and independence with daily activities
Document treatment sessions accurately and timely
Communicate effectively with residents, families, therapy team members, and facility staff
Participate in care planning and resident progress discussions
Qualifications:
Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
Active state license or eligibility to practice in Ohio
Experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
