Job Summary
Wanyen is looking for a friendly, dependable, and hardworking Cashier/ Ice Cream Scooper to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast paced environment, and is excited to be part of a cafe focused on great service and high quality desserts.
As a member of the team, you will help create a welcoming experience for our guests by taking orders, handling transactions, serving ice cream, preparing desserts and drinks, and keeping the shop clean and organized. You may also be asked to assist with making and preparing ice cream as part of daily operations.

Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide friendly, attentive service
- Operate POS system and handle cash/card transactions
- Scoop and serve ice cream, desserts, and drinks
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Restock cups, napkins, utensils, and supplies as needed
- Follow cafe opening and closing procedures
- Assist team with light cleaning and dishwashing during shifts
- Work on assigned tasks during downtime to support operations
- Assist in food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards.
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are followed
Qualifications
- Friendly, positive attitude and strong customer service skills
- Previous experience in cashiering, food service, or retail environments is preferred.
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
- Must be able to work assigned shifts, plus additional time for closing and cleaning.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain a neat and clean appearance; proper grooming is required. Employees must wear the uniform provided while on shift.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

Tuesday - Thursday, Sunday: 12 PM to 4:30 PM , 4:30 PM to 9 PM, or full day
Friday - Saturday: 12 PM to 5 PM , 5 PM to 10 PM, or full day
