What are the responsibilities and job description for the Yard Jockey/ Hostler- Forklift Driver position at Wanship Transportation?
Wanship Transportation has been a refrigerated transportation leader in the Western States for over 30 years. Our specialty is moving less than truckload (LTL) freight.
We are looking for a self-motivated, hard-working individual to work with our refrigerated warehouse team. The successful candidate will operate a hostler moving trailers in and out of our dock area.
Responsibilities:
Safely move 24-53 ft trailers to and from the dock using a hostler.
Cross dock freight and load trailers using a forklift
Communicate with warehouse and customers
Perform yard checks
Fuel Reefers
Qualifications:
Valid Class A CDL required
1 year Hostler or Class A driving
Excellent backing skills
Forklift experience or certified (Preferred)
Schedule:
Sunday- Wednesday 6am- 230pm
Benefits:
Salary: $22.00hr to $24.00hr DOE
