What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Operations Manager for Campervan Rental Fleet position at Wandervans?
Wandervans currently has 20 campervans that are rented out to customers in the Salt Lake City Area. We currently have a part time manager on staff, but we are looking for an additional part time person to help manage our existing fleet. This is somewhat seasonal, as the rental season begins in March, and end around November 1. Primary duties will include: oversee van maintenance, coordinating laundry, scheduling, basic van interior repairs, coordinating vendors (cleaners etc.). Helping with installing bike racks, or seats. This position will require some duties to be performed on weekends, although typically minor as most of our vans are rented/gone over the weekends and returned on Sunday.
This job requires experience in customer service, scheduling, operations management, basic vehicle knowledge, and staff oversight. The ideal candidate would have experience working for another car rental company, with understanding of customer needs and customer service in this type of operation. We expect that this job would entail approximately 10-15 hours per week during our busy season. Our other manager leaves around 1pm typically, so if we found someone else to from 1pm until 4 pm each day, that would be ideal, but we're somewhat flexible.
