Responsibilities
- Successfully plan and execute visually appealing, seasonally relevant, and on-brand floor displays that attract customers and drive sales.
- Maintain the high standards of Wanderlust Outfitters regarding store cleanliness, organization, and the presentation of merchandise.
- Collaborate with the team (Sales Manager, Supervisor, Receiver) to resolve operational, sales, merchandising, and inventory issues.
- Maintain excellent customer service while merchandising.
- Work regular sales shifts, including weekends and black out dates.
- Provide staffing coverage for absences.
- This is a full-time position (30 hours a week) reporting to our Sales Manager. The ideal candidate will have availability on weekdays, holidays, and weekends.
Requirements
Previous retail experience required. Previous outdoor industry sales experience is strongly desired. BS or BA in Fashion Merchandising, Visual Merchandising or Merchandising highly recommended but not required.
Compensation:
$17-21/hr bonus potential (Commensurate w/experience)
