Machine Learning Engineer

Job Description

We're looking for engineers with a background in Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Generative AI. They will play a key role in driving algorithmic improvements to search and recommendation systems. They will develop and deliver robust and scalable solutions to continually improve our KPIs to delight our consumers.

Key Responsibilities

• Improve our search and recommendation systems by building production machine learning models.
• Fine-tune state-of-the-art generative models like Deepseek, Llama, Mistral, and others.
• Process large amounts of data with strong engineering skills.
• Find insights from data, be data-driven, produce actionable and trustworthy conclusions.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or above degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• Proven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role, in search, recommendation or Ads area.
• Experiences about applying machine learning, deep learning or GenAI technologies on search retrieval, ranking or feed/Ads ranking.
• In-depth practice in query parsing, content understanding, recall, relevance, ranking, RAG, etc.
• Experience with Elastic Search is preferable.
• Have knowledge of LLM fine-tuning and related experience is preferable.
• Understand machine learning and related algorithms, with the ability to apply technologies such as natural language processing, computer vision to solve complex and challenging problems.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Go or C .
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
