WANDER STAFFING seeks to add one (1) Lead RN Case Manager to our Team ASAP. This position supports military medical readiness operations for the Vermont Army National Guard and serves as the primary clinical case management lead and Government point of contact. The selected candidate will function as Key Personnel under the contract and play a critical role in ensuring Soldier medical readiness, case tracking, and compliance with Army medical standards.
About the Program:
The Vermont Army National Guard Medical Readiness Program supports the health, deployability, and medical readiness of service members. The Lead RN Case Manager provides oversight of case management activities, coordinates medical readiness actions, supports command leadership, and ensures timely completion of readiness requirements while maintaining compliance with Army policies and procedures.
Location: VTARNG State Medical Detachment, Green Mountain Armory, Camp Johnson, Colchester, VT 05446
Pay:
- $65/hour
Schedule:
- 0730-1630, Monday – Friday
- Occasional support for readiness events and medical processing activities as required
Start Date:
- ASAP following contract award, background investigation, and credentialing
Duration of Contract:
- 1 year with options to extend
- Note: The duration of the contract is between the government and us. Like any other job, if life means you must leave, you give us a 60-day notice
License and Certification Requirements:
- BSN
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Vermont RN license or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) eligibility
- Current BLS
- Certified Case Manager (CCM) credential preferred
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum four (4) years of professional nursing experience
- Minimum two (2) years of supervisory, team lead, charge nurse, or case management leadership experience
- U.S. Citizen
- Ability to successfully complete a Tier 1 (NACI) background investigation and obtain CAC access
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current CCM certification
- Recent experience utilizing Army medical readiness systems including MEDCHART and/or MHS GENESIS
- Experience supporting military, federal, or Department of Defense healthcare programs
- Knowledge of Army medical readiness standards and Soldier medical processing requirements
Duties:
- Serve as the Lead RN Case Manager and Contract Manager for the program
- Act as the primary point of contact between the contractor team and Government representatives
- Coordinate and oversee all case management activities supporting Soldier medical readiness
- Establish, maintain, and monitor electronic case management profiles
- Review medical documentation and track readiness-related medical actions
- Coordinate care and follow-up activities with healthcare providers, Soldiers, and command leadership
- Maintain accurate records within Army-approved medical readiness systems
- Monitor case timelines and ensure compliance with Government performance standards
- Conduct quality assurance reviews of case management activities
- Generate reports and provide status updates to Government stakeholders
- Support medical readiness events, Soldier Readiness Processing (SRP), and Periodic Health Assessment (PHA) activities
- Assist in identifying barriers to readiness and recommend corrective actions
