Support/Floater Teacher Positions

Wander In Wonder is expanding and interviewing for full-time Support/Floater Teachers! Start date: August 17th, 2026

We value flexibility, strong communication skills, and commitment to learning and growth. We love people who are excited to be teachers and engage with the children each day.

We would prefer a teacher experienced with the RIE and Reggio-Emilia philosophy. We use PBIS as our guidance and discipline practice. We are passionate about connecting children with natural environments, healthy family style meals, and anti-bias education.

While we prefer someone who has experience we are also open to hiring teachers who are interested in joining the field! Support teachers provide lunches, planning, breaks to all of our classroom teachers.

Teacher Requirements:

• Registered with the Oregon Central Background Registry
• Current First Aid/CPR Cart
• Current Oregon Food Handler's Card
• Certificates for: Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse & Neglect, Oregon Safe Sleep, Prevention is Better Than Treatment, Introduction to Childcare Health & Safety
• Teacher Qualified (Licensing Requirement: 1500 hours of early childhood experience at a certified center gained with a group of the same children in at least 3 hour blocks within a 36-month period)
