Job Overview:
Our company is currently seeking a dedicated Painter to join our team. As a Painter, you will play a crucial role in our construction and remodeling projects. We offer a dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth and development. This is a full-time position with the potential for overtime. Guaranteed 40 hour work week
Responsibilities:
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes to various surfaces
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and smoothing
- Mix and match colors to meet project requirements
- Use hand tools and equipment such as brushes, rollers, and sprayers
- Work on construction sites to paint new structures or renovate existing ones
- Collaborate with team members on remodeling projects
- Perform tasks related to plastering, masonry, and concrete finishing
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- Must have at least 10 years experience as painter
- Knowledge of different painting techniques and materials
- Familiarity with schematics and blueprints
- Ability to work efficiently and meet project deadlines
- Experience using hand tools commonly used in painting projects
- Must be able to drive a 12' box truck
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Valid Driver's license with good driving record
